I'm so in love with my tri boy...he's definatly a mommas boy, always follows me wherever I go. Has to be at my feet as I'm getting ready for work and eating my dinner.. He needs a little more discipline than my girl, best part is, he loves to cuddle...I love my Chico Bear

The breeder I got Chey from has one litter a year. They are raised on the Horse show scene. ANd are super well behaved. All are house broken at 10 weeks old and she doesnt sell them till they are 12 weeks old. The paper work you have to go thru is insane but well worth it. I have a great relationship with my breeder. When there is that much love and hard work it's worth it to pay the extra 300$ to get a well bred well mannered dog. I looked into adopting a rescue, But because of my work travel and lack of a enced in year 24/7 they wouldnt approve me.

Puppy mills are awful, if you're not going to rescue you must go to a reputable breeder: http://www.hsus.org/pets/pet_adoption_information/how_to_find_a_good_dog_breeder/

i believe you need to be careful from whom you buy a puppy of any kind. the registered breeders are best to gain knowledge from as they are breeding for the betterment of the breed not because they think it would be nice for their bitch to have a litter. We also are aware of what can happen and watch our pups closely to ensure they are developing properly. i have a litter at present and they are driving me nuts with their grizzling but they are only finding their voices and "Mum' does not seem overly worried at their pitiful cries.

I agree, based on what I learned when searching for our new puppy, breeders are very luck to break even. If they are making a profit, then I would question their motives, and their methods.

Their are so few young breeders out their that I would not be suprised if some of the breeds become extinct or very rare if they pass the new breeding laws. You would basically have to be a millionaire to pass their criteria.
