Our beautiful pup, Oona, is growing so fast, and losing the black on her face.

I'd start classes asap. Most classes just require the puppies to be up to date on shots so you can start before 16 weeks usually.

When is a good time to start puppy training classes?  We've been doing "leave it" and "sit" already some but how soon after her 16 week shots is optimal for a training class?

I found the Firminator cut Scooter black top coat off  leaving the gray undercoat showing through. I use a round currycomb brush on her. I had used them for my horses and it works great too. You can buy them at any tack shop or feed store that carries horse and cattle supplies.

I used the furminator on my pups when they were about ten weeks but I just lightly ran it down their back so it didn't actually deshed them at all, but typically until 6 months old they don't really shed much so I just did that for them to get used to it, then by 6 months they were fine with me using it on them

I wouldn't use a Furminator on a puppy!  My old corgi doesn't even like it unless I am very gentle.  They are a bit rough.  Use a very soft brush first on a puppy, so they get used to brushing and like it.

Can I use the regular furminator on my puppy? I didn't buy the puppy one. Also, are puppies extra tired after their shots?
