Good news! There is a new park being built in North Port. We drove by it tonight, they are working on the parking lot now...so any day now.

yes, its a nice park... we used to go there alot till we got ticks. Now we take them to a nature trail off border road in venice

We went the the Venice dog park today! It is off Jacaranda in Venice. What a great place!!!! It was nice and shady with lots of water available. We spent some time in the small dog area. molly was the only dog, but she didnt' seem to mind. Whe could smell all she wanted.

We went into the big dog area. She mostly hung out with the younger dogs. We had to leave because she get really mean when dogs come up behind her.

Anyway...I just wanted to share this great place

Hello all! Please post which is better -- March 28th or April 4th (both Saturdays, both around 1pm) for a meet up. The park's name and location is in the "Possible Meet Up - Suggestions?" discussion forum; hope lots of you can make it! We have at least one confirmation for the 4th :)
