An idea for a Christmas gift, for those of you searching online for a Corgi-related gift for a youngster in your life-you might be interested in one of the works of Christian Slade, a former Disney animator who has a couple of graphic novels in his Korgi series, from Top Shelf Comix.
You can see a trailer for one of these novels at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLHhsASSZeA. (or search for "Korgi trailer).
Mr. Slade's blog (which currently has a photo of one of his two corgis) is: http://www.drawger.com/christianslade/?section=comments&article_id=6210#comments
As you can see, his corgi work incorporates some of the corgi myths about fairies; the artwork is really gorgeous, so you may want to check it out!
It's such a blessing to be able to view all the adorably cute pictures and videos on this website....and communicate with the owners also!
I had to give up one of my dogs once, because it was getting bullied by the older dog. A good friend of mine adopted him, though, and loves him dearly, taking even better care of him than I did. I know it's so painful to have to give a pet away, though.
hey thanks for the compliment :) You have nice pics too. Yeah, kito is very spoiled, it's hard not to as I'm sure you're aware. Sable actually looks a lot like Chakito, very similar marking.
I've named all of my dogs after spices. Started with McCormick, then Spice, and Ginger (all yorkies). When I moved to Florida, I decided to switch breeds, and LOVE LOVE LOVE my baby Nut. I'm very please so far, and love learning about the breed. Not to mention the parents have been wonderful to meet. Thanks!!
Hello Elaine. . .thanks for your comment on my page about the Corgi graphics. . .I searched and searched the internet and I came across different sites, but I can't remember which ones because there were so many. . .so I went into my cookies and grabbed all the .gifs and .png files and copied them onto my desktop. . .once they were there, I could see which graphics were Corgi related and I saved them in a folder. . . .this one made me smile. . .it's adorable. . . .
Aww, we feel honored to have my video up on your blog. Glad you enjoyed it! I read your post and I agree, that was very wrong of the news people to not tell the whole story like that. Ugh!!!
