About Me:: My husband and I fell in love and purchased our first corgi, Minnie, 9 years ago. We are now excited to have Fergie, and 8 week Tri, join our pack. Minny may not be as excited as we are:). hello everyone,

Here is the situation.....10 mos old sweet, demure little Fergie who has learned to love playing with other pups, and safe strangers, has suddenly(within the last 3 mos) gotten very aggressive when I apply her monthly heartworm/flea tick preventative. Aggressive to the point of trying to bite me. This is the same dog who tolerates my 7 year old wrapping her up in an Ariel blanket on a daily basis. How contagious is ringworm?

Our old girl Minnie just tested positive for ringworm and is currently being treated with a topical solution. The vet, whom had the delight of experiencing her own case of ringworm during pregnancy, stressed how contagious it can be. There was some discussion in the corgi health forum regarding ringworm, I am just wondering if anyone has had it spread from dog to dog, or dog to person in their house. I hate having to tell my little ones to limit petting… Continue

It's shedding time once again - just in case you needed to be reminded.LOL. I swear I could sit all day with every possible grooming tool I own and still not be ahead. It has been a very windy last few days here in Michigan, and every time the wind blows, the fur flies. Poor Minnie reminds me of Pig Pen from Charlie Brown - but instead of being surrounded by a cloud of filth, it's fur.

Little Fergie was spayed yesterday! She doesn't seem upset about the loss of her ovaries - just the addition of the e-collar.:)
