Hometown:: Superior, Colorado

About Me:: I live just outside of Boulder Colorado. We have 2 boys, 4 cats and 1 corgi!

Welsh Corgi Breeder?: No

About My Corgi(s):: We got Dori and Max from a breeder in Longmont,CO. Dori was to be a breeding dog but she was unable to have puppies. So at the age of two I bought Dori from her. She is a very mello dog and does not like to run, jump and play like a normal Corgi and we are try had to make her more active. We think she is so lazy because of growing up in a breeding kennel. She likes other dogs and cats of course. She love to travel and ride in the car. Now that we have got Max in Feb.he has brought Dori out of her shell.

Small Corgi ?????

I hope someone out there can cure my worries. We got a new corgi in February. He seemed very normal till now.
He is 8 months old and his weight is about 12 pound. We saw a corgi over the weekend the same age as Max and he was twice his size and weight. Do I have a mini Corgi? The breeder just keeps saying he is going to be small.

We are adding to our family.

Well we did it. I contacted the breeder about getting Dori's sister and she told me that she has decided to keep her so I thought oh well. And then she told me to come out and see her 4 new litter of puppies. So.....we are getting another corgi. He is a tri-colored male and is 3 weeks old. The breeder told me it is better to have a male and female than two females. Never heard that before but she knows a lot more about the breed then I do. We should have a new puppy in 5 weeks.
