My husband and I are moving to the milwaukee area soon, the west Bend area, I am hoping there are corgi clubs or groups that I can look in to so that I will get to know people, Can anyone help!!
Katie, don't know what I am doing wrong here but hopefully I will get it right this time. I think we are now friends on mycorgi . I am a two hour drive away, close to the GB airport. If you ever need to take a ride with the family (pups) stop by. Our place backs up to the Oneida game preserve with a great pond and walking trails. We can visit and I can show you the area. Hope you enjoy west Bend. My oldest boy went to UWM and was on the Rugby team so I spent alot of time there. Am not a fan of the big cities but I do adjust. They are having the cheese head picnic in Jefferson and I do plan on attending so maybe we can meet up there. Tina
I think we now are friends. I live close to the Green Bay airport so if you get this way (2hrs) let me know and if you bring the pups I have a beautiful place for them to run. Our land backs up to a small lake with lots of birds and deer. Great walking paths. Natural game preserve.
Oh Katie I am so sorry to hear about Scooter! I think of mine that have left us and after awhile you remember the good things about them that made you smile! My Bella is named after my 1st Bella and one of her daughters is named after them both!
Well there's always a way to get a pup Katie I think Nicole said it was a 6 hour drive from Milwaukee (she also told me Asher was the best dog in the whole apartment complex)...I am thinking that Livvy and Wynn will be having a litter maybe early February and they will be ready for new homes sometime in April/May...that is if she gets pregnant. This will be her first litter!
Oh I am so sorry. I know how you feel. When we lost Buffy we thought her liver issues were under control and she just passed away in the night. Unfortunately it was at the vet's office and she was all alone. Scooter should have had a few more good years! At least you know she is playing with some really great corgis somewhere!
I noticed from your profile that Scooter was only ten. That is how old my Sparty is. Was Scooter real sick for a while? We lost our Buffy when she was only six but she had a lot of health problems for most of her life. They are such wonderful characters aren't they?
