I have never written a blog before. But I need to write this in response to a piece I read last night, from a young woman named Rebecca whose Corgi died.
In August of 1994, my husband got me a tri-colored Pembroke for our first anniversary. Her name was Audrey. She was spunky, funny, smart, and all things Corgi.…

i am so sorry about the confusion. i really did love all the advice u gave to me and was happy that u were there to support us. i had to read it several times as it was very thoughtful to write a blog to help me and my husband. i am thankful that i have meet u along with all the others i have meet on this wonderful site.
im so happy your corgi is ok! that gave me a pretty big scare as i thought u were trying to tell me u lost another corgi but im happy that is not the case.
there is a friend of mine on here who is going to write to the person who created this site and let everyone know how dangerous the little things in your home can be. now that this has happened i want this to get out to people so they know. once again i am sorry u also had to experience this too
Me and my husband truly do thank you and sorry about me getting confused . i know u were just trying to help, i wasnt mad or anything i just was confused at the moment
thank you for your post and your compliments. i wanted to be sure that he was always happy and not bored. i tried to make everything that i could a positive experience.
your story is moving as well and has given us a new light. yes, in the future we will get another corgi as our home is open and we have so much love to give. i know it wont be teddy but at least he/she will fill this empty void in our hearts.
im not trying to sound rude but i do have to ask, what exactly did u mean by your title? "why write this" if i had to answer i would say to let all my corgi friends know what has happened and that i knew i would get support from everyone and to also warn others of this tragic accident
Welcome Jeannie, Tilda and Lola!
Jeannie, thanks for your not to Rebecca and Arthur. It is so hard to loose a beloved pet but the type of accident that you folks have shared is even harder. I hope you have helped them get through this bad experience and go on to love other dogs.
That was nice of you to share your story. Welcome to mycorgi, I know you will like it here.
welcome :)
Welcome Jeannie Lola and Tilda!
Welcome. Lola sounds like quite a gal. Look forward to seeing photos of Lola and Tilda.
