So Jesse is back in high gear after getting spayed. I've been noticing she licks her feet a lot so I gave them a good looksies and they look like normal doggy paws to me. What can this mean? Problem,…Continue

Jesse's quirks

I just wanted to make a list of all of Jesse's funny little quirks, now that she's coming out of her shell.
1. squeaker toys-love the toy but is freaked out every time she makes it squeak (kinda funny)
2. eats kibble one... bite... at.. a.... time... (at least she's not gorging herself?)
3. hates the leash- she's getting better every day though.
4. half of the time she wont listen to me, but as soon as I have food I can't get her off of me.
5. She…

I just got my first Corgi, Jesse. She is 4 years old. I got her from someone who couldn't keep her anymore. She is very calm and very cuddly, and VERY afraid of my stairs. lol. She also was mainly an outdoor dog, so we need to work on some house training. Welcome Rachael, and congratulations on your adoption! Corgis are quick learners! I see from the above, I did not click and go to the blog, that you have had 14 comments and I am sure that you have gotten some great advice! This site is great, because you have both new and old corgi owners and people with information that you can use or not use. Enjoy Jesse, just let her bond as she will (our last rescue took months to bond) Carol, Lucky and Sonny
