Too Fast Eating...

Started this discussion. Last reply by Snickmom May 19, 2012. 9 Replies

Both of my dogs eat way too fast.  I put them both in separate areas and still they don't even chew and they cough every other whole bite.  Before the second pup came along Otto was good to go.  He…Continue

What about Bones??

Started this discussion. Last reply by Amy & Rubi Rae Apr 14, 2012. 12 Replies

I type in google where to get bones at here in Las Vegas to see if there is a nice butcher at a grocery store and a thing from the FDA comes up about bones being bad for dogs.  Now growing up I was…Continue

"Another question: is Otis neutered?  If he is not, I would advise putting it off for awhile.  He seems to be quite a submissive pup and I think he would benefit from extra time to adjust to his new environment and develop a more confident…"

Anna Morelli replied to Otto and Otis's discussion Nervous Peeing
"If he is anxious about putting on the collar, why not just have a safe collar you can leave on him all the time?  If this works, that's the easy way out. If not, here is another route. You can try to desensitize him from the anxiety…"

"Can you give us some back story? How long have you had him, how old is he? When you say he pees in the house, are you referring to the submissive urination or that he's not potty trained completely?"

Nervous Peeing

I've had issues where a dog would get really excited seeing someone and have an accident and fixed it by having that person not make eye contact or pet the dog until a little later. The issue now is the dog will pee whenever he seems nervous. Once he lets it out it starts coming. His ears go back like he did something wrong and he starts to wiggle. He does this when you try to put a collar on him and you just have to let him crawl in your lap and usually he wont go there. I'm not exactly sure…See More

Hey Tom! I actually just joined this site and heard that you are in need of a corgi in the Vegas area. My husband and I got our Corgi girl back in September from a breeder named Marissa Keele. She is actually on this site (Keele's Corgis) and has her own website (just google Keele's corgis). She is amazing and we were really pleased with the whole experience. If you have any more questions, let me know. :)
