- emi is currently a 2 yr old red and white pem! She was welped on 2/6/12 and we drove all the way to chowchilla to get her! her name means "smile" in japanese. we originally named her that prior to meeting her, because she was the corgi we've been dreaming about all this time and that she would always bring a smile to our face.. but it also turns out HER smile is the most gorgeous smile in the world! Emi is a headstrong DIVA and has more spunk and personality then Emma stone ;)
Our second pemmie is named SIR ALPHA HELIX XIAO or just helix for short (: he is an unregisterable, tailed puppy whom was welped 5/4/12. He is a very sweet and loving boy, quite the opposite of Emi. He is a simple boy, and is always looking to please :)

Huntington Dog Beach (picture intensive)

A couple of weeks ago, we made a trip out to huntington dog beach with the dogs to commemorate the end of finals! Billy and I took the corgis out with their golden retriever best friend and their parents. We had such a fun time, we were not expecting it to be so nice (: lots of dogs frapping out, running into the waves, catching balls, it was AWESOME! unfortunately, emi and helix did not enjoy the water too much, but occasionally would wonder out to follow their golden retriever best friend.…

its been a little over a month since little helix entered our lives. its quite funny how things work out sometimes!
emi has always been quite the diva and brat ever since the day we brought her home. she is definitely a very headstrong girl, and is sooo stubborn! it doesn't change how much we love her though!
helix turned out to be such a sweet boy, the complete opposite of emi! hes more calm and doesnt always try to attack everyones face, but he also does not trust very…

please prepare yourself for a rant that i have been harboring for quiet a while!
ever since i got emi, i've been dealing with this particular girl who goes to my university who also has a corgi whom is a bit younger then emi. one of my housemates is in a sorority, and this girl is in her sorority, so she comes over quite frequently! she may have gotten her corgi, named stubby, before me, but i had my deposit longer, and emi is a bit older than he is.
what irks…

Congrats on getting a tailed corgi! That is so cool!
We have 2 cats and 3 dogs, and often they will all nap on the couch together. My corgi mix Bruce will often chase after a cat but never with the intention to catch the cat! Sidney's only issue is that he hates to see a cat picked up and carried. To him it must be some sort of abomination! He'll bark and whine and try to jump. But generally they all get along.
