From time to time I see if there are any Corgis in shelters in the Houston area, where I live, and I came across this guy and his story broke my heart.  He was born without front paws and his breeder stuck him in a shelter.  I don't know anything else about him other than that, but it just broke my heart and I started crying (still crying).  I don't know how anybody could NOT want to love this Corgi, he has his Corgi smile on even though life has been bad to him.  If only I could adopt…

So I was running late for an important meeting and HAD to get in the shower.  I always crate Johann when I'm in the shower- but I just didn't have time.  He was sitting in the hall chewing on a toy or shoe... It didn't matter to me I just had to get going.

Hey all-

 

My little Johann has quirky eating habits... I honestly think that he has food ADD.  When I got him at 8 weeks, he had been eating Purina Puppy Chow dry food with Pedigree canned food for Puppies.  I had already bought a bag of Wellness Super 5 Mix for Puppies and a few cans of the Pedigree Puppy canned food so that he would have something familiar to him.  He is now 10.5 weeks old and still will not touch his Wellness dry food.

I have had Johann for almost 2 weeks now and he turned 10 weeks old today.  He was very sweet with me for the first few days... But lately he hasn't been wanting to cuddle and won't cooperate with his harness.  He just sits there.  I tug and release the leash but he continues to just sit and looks at me like I'm an idiot.  I offer him treats while we are walking but once he goes a few feet, he stops and lays down no longer interested in the treat.  When other people are out walking during leash… Continue
