It's my Gwen's Gotcha Day!! Life has never been the same in the Lampkins' household.

My Gwen turns a year old tomorrow!! Her as a pup,on her gotcha day in Feb and today at 1.

I've always dreamed of owning Corgis I envisioned two,a male and a female. I had their names picked years ago.

Well I got my Gwenhwyfar. I've been looking for my Arthur..deciding to try the rescue route. Well apparently I was meant to get a Nimue first.

We're changing her name to Nimue to stay with the Arthurian legend.  She's a rescue a year and two months old. Not spayed...we're fixing (no pun intended) that ASAP.

 I'm changing Gwen's food. And when we went to Tractor Supply to check out TOTW we saw their brand 4Health.

Have any of you bought/ used it?

We compared ingredients and percentage,they were almost indentical except one had 13% the other 14% of one ingredient

The TOTW was 47.99 for a 30lb. bag.

The 4Health was 36.99 for 35 lbs.

And when I get it(the new food) do you think I should buy a small bag first? Sooo new at this stuff. I'm driving my husband…

I searched the site since I know there's countless threads on them,but got overwhelmed trying to find answers.

 Just as food choices are/were overwhelming when we got Gwen.

I'll admit to having a problem spending 50.00+ on one bag of dog food .She's eating Purina One. Originally the beef small bites. But  it gave her gas,(kinda funny to hear those BIG belches come out of a little dog).And her stool was a bit loose.

So we switched her to the chicken and…

I didn't want the distraction of someone trying to take pics DURING. SC/GA red clay does NOT just dry and come off. All her white was slightly tinged pink from the fire ant mound destruction of last…

 We have a crazy work schedule.And the kid FINALLY got a job!! (hooray).So I try to make the time we have with Gwen the  best. I want her to be able to go for rides in the car.

I also want her restrained for everyone's safety. Her crate I  believe would be too big for either of our cars.

I was looking online for options.What brand/type do you all use??

  I DID warn you there'd 'prolly be lots of questions coming ;)

With the registration there's an option of Lost and Found.How many of you selected that option? Did you have your Corgi microchipped before you registered?

And do you feel microchipping is worthwhile?.

 When we got Gwen,they had been allowing her on the furniture. We had discussed that we didn't think it was the best idea.

I know she's young enough to break of the habit,but those brown eyes.....

What are your opinons on this? Does jumping up and down on furniture put undue stress on them? I know they aren't china but would hate to think of putting her at any risk of injury,
