I DID warn you there'd 'prolly be lots of questions coming ;)

With the registration there's an option of Lost and Found. How many of you selected that option? Did you have your Corgi microchipped before you registered?

And do you feel microchipping is worthwhile?.

I have the AKC version because we got Ein as an adult from her breeder and that's what they had her chipped with. I'm not exactly sure what the company is called but I know it's with the AKC. Our cats are chipped with a service called AVID which we got from the vet

I'm not sure what the lost and found option for the AKC is so I'm assuming we didn't do it, but both our dogs are microchipped. It is a must IMO.

Thanks, our cats are strictly indoors. I lost my beloved Bengal to a tick borne disease and never again. We were pretty sure about the answer but never hurts to ask. And this will be our home unless we win the lottery ;)

Did any of you go with the AKC lost and found option as well?

Microchipping is a must.  You have to be sure to keep your address updated with the registry though if you move, and there is no charge for that.  All of my animals are chipped....

absolutely, DEFINITELY YES! we have all our pets microchipped — cat and dog alike.  we even set up a google voice number for contact for our pet registrations so that it rings ALL our phones instead of just one of us.

Absolutely. It never would have occurred to me not have our pets microchipped. Ein is chipped and our two cats are as well.
