For some reason lately I've been wanting to dote on the dogs more than usual and have had urges to give them some of my table scraps. In the past I've always been strict about not giving them any people food and sticking with minimal amounts of dog treats. I don't know what's come over me all of the sudden, but I felt like I needed an outlet. So I did a quick search and found these 2 articles: 10…

Please, if your going to be crating your dog, take the time to train and teach them that their crate is their safe haven. Everyone will be so much happier. Here is an article I found extremely helpful when crate training…

They grow so fast when they're puppies that you really have to be diligent about updating their pictures on the microchip company profile. I updated Ein's Home Again profile pic today. When was the last time you did?

This is me watering my lemon tree with my right hand and takin pictures with my left. LOL…

If funny how night time effect mood. I'm laying here in the dark, the only one left awake, and I just start feeling the sadness creep in. Sometimes it's overwhelming. I miss my companion Tally so much. She was so gentle, attentive, and could always sense when I needed to pet her. She will never be forgotten. Ein's not quite there yet, but she's still a rambunctious puppy whose a pretty self centered. LOL She'll get there. I'm lucky to have her helping me through the grief. I suppose going to…

I'm having my 16 week old pembroke corgi spayed on the 19th of this month, and I had a long talk with a vet friend of mine about the procedure and now I'm a little paranoid. She told me that her office does the following for every single spay surgery:
physical exam before the surgery
blood panel work up
iv fluids during procedure
continuous pulse ox and blood pressure monitoring during procedure
pain meds for after, and to take…
