Murphy can finally jump onto the couch and chairs. We always had to lift him up before, but now he can do it on his own. :o) He can also jump onto the twin beds in the guest room, which is really difficult when I'm trying to move Stella over there so he doesn't try and play with her like one of his squeakers. I swear, he thinks she's a toy.
I have noticed that he's been getting scabs on different parts of his body and I don't know where they're coming from. The one on his chest was pretty big and that scab fell off last night. I think he may have dry skin. I'm just not sure what I should do for him. He doesn't seem too bothered by them, but I know dogs don't react to pain quite like we do and it's not like he can just tell me if something hurts or is wrong. I have reduced his bath times because he hates them so much and he doesn't really get all that dirty anyway plus we have wipes in case he does get a little dirty or starts smelling like a garbage can. :o) Maybe they're just from playing with Tater and his other doggy friends. They can get pretty rough with each other. I'm gonna keep an eye on them just to see if they get any worse.
He's just so well behaved. My mom is always commenting on how good he is and Chris's parents always say he's a good little house guest when we stay overnight there. We even let him off the leash at their place and he does really well with staying in their yard and in my dad's yard when we go over there. We can't do that around here though, not until next summer when we get a fence put in. I feel bad that we just can't let him run around in the yard yet, but there can be a lot of distractions around here with us being along an alley way and people walking on the sidewalks out front. I really never want to see him run off and get lost or hit by a car. Someday when we are looking to buy our second house, we'll be buying one with a lot more land and then he can have a blast. For now though for temporary, we just have a small metal post in the ground and attach his leash to that and he does great, we go out and play with him and he gets to run around a little bit. He loves to roll in the grass, but what pup doesn't? Next year it'll be even better.
One of his favorite games is fetch. He learned to play all on his own too. I'm going to have to post a video of him, its so funny to watch him run, he's so fast.
