I think HR was referring to Boo's comment about more Corgis in this situation, not referring to this little guy in particular.

You mean the little guy got put down?!!! Around here there was one in the shelter and when I called they said they had gotten about 50 calls in the morning alone. He was adopted right away.

I agree this is sad to see. I hope there are not many more Corgis in this situation due to increased popularity.

Oh okay, good. Are you affiliated with SoCal Corgi Rescue, HR? I can foster for a little bit, I guess but I need to make sure. Thanks, everyone for your input! :)

May be good to contact them now. Sometimes rescue organizations are able to arrange to pull the dogs and have other fosters available. I have no doubts that all the rescues are quite as busy as we are. Most can find a spot for "just one more" Hope you are able to contact someone to help this guy.
