Many of you may remember my dog Bear was poisoned with antifreeze in Feb. After two months on Dialysis at the University of Florida and $23,000.000 later she pulled thru. Tonight I let her out and she came in 5 minutes later with blue on her feet. I thought I was just being paranoid but I took her to the emergency vet which confirmed she has again been poisoned with antifreeze. They are starting the antidote now and tomorrow at 7am I will be headed back to USF and hopefully Dr. Bandt can save her life again. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? Please keep her in your prayers.

do you have cameras on your property?

Wow.... First off I hope and Pray your Bear make another full recovery.

A few things you should think about....Have you fully documented these incidences above and beyond Police and Animal Control? Have you contacted Animal Contol and Police? If not do so immediately. In addtion to doing that you MUST document on your own what is going on. Do you have a fenced in yard? If so you have a situation where someone is breaching a fence and tresspassing on your property in order to carry out an act of cruety to an animal....are you begining to follow where I am going? This could turn into a legal nightmare for the perp if you begin to follow the channels that are in place. If your dog is barking it's head off, which I know can be annoying, it does not justify individuals carring out such actions of cruelty or tresspass on your property. Make PD file a complaint of tresspassing and/or cruelty to animals even if the responsible party is unknown there needs to be official records of this. Every heard of the ASPCA. I'm just sayin'.....I know this is alot of info at such a critical time.....But this is UNACCEPTABLE behavior.

I cannot even imagine your frustration and discouragement at this point. Bear must be one strong little Corgi! I pray the vets knowledge help her quickly as well as the police to find out who could do such an unthinkable act. Keep us updated!

Betty, I hope Bear will pull through again. We had a cat when I was a very small child, who was killed by antifreeze. The old neighbor guy didn't like animals, so he started putting antifreeze out in his yard (we found out later). Unfortunately she went exploring one day and went to his yard. Nothing could be proven at the time because he would just put everything back in his garage.
I hope that it can be proven who is doing this to Bear.

This is just horrible! How could anyone do this to a dog? I can't comprehend the thought process of someone who physically goes out to kill a dog.. I just.. I don't understand it! I would be in a complete melt down if I knew someone was out to kill my dogs :( I hope you catch whoever it is and get them locked behind bars b4 they can do it to anyone else.. though its horrible its happened to you already more then once. I'm so sorry and I hope everything turns out ok for your family :( Big corgi loves!

Betty, I am so sorry to hear that! Bear will be in my prayers and I hope she pulls through again. I can't believe that anyone would be so cruel and immature as to poison a dog. If it were me, I think I would be putting a for sale sign in the yard and moving ASAP. If they are poisoning your dog... on 3 occasions now... who knows what else they will do in the future, not just to the dogs, but to your house and family. Sick, sick people in the world!

Poor doggie... I agree with everyone, it's very unfortunate that antifreeze would just be laying around unless someone put it there.
It's good that you got her to the vet soon enough so let's hope she'll be OK soon.
