I was browsing the ads on Petfinder, noticing how many cute corgi mixes need homes, when i came across this wonderful little Cardigan Corgi puppy!
The first thought i had was to post his on MyCorgi so that the wonderful people here might have a chance at adopting him.
As we all know corgis are little spitfires and if they go to a home that is not prepared for their personality, they are often sent back to the shelter.
I hope that he can find a forever home with an experienced dog owner.

He is currently in Holland, MI

I'm glad he is in no danger, but i can't believe the shelter won't work with the rescue group!
Such a young corgi is going to need a lot of special attention that shelter usually can't provide... and the adoption screening processes are usually not very indepth.
I hope he doesn't spend his life in and out of shelters. :(

Ha ha Jane! It is unlikely I could have a dog for a month and not fall in love and my husband knows it!

Yeah, I also wondered why they were not returned to the breeder or a corgi rescue. It seems unlikely that they did not have other options.

Just FYI, Cardigan national rescue is aware of him but the rescue he's in refused to work with them. It's a very unfortunate thing that many shelters and rescue groups won't let dogs go to the rescue groups that are the most experienced, but it happens a lot. He's in no danger of being euthanized, fortunately.

I saw that! There were two of them but the female must have been adopted. Too bad I am not allowed additional babies!
