First tick ever!.

I took Oscar and Sam to the park yesterday and they were running around and Sam tore off after a rabbit!. Well later that night Paul had Oscar on his lap and noticed something near his eye and on closer inspection he noticed a tick!. straight away he had it off Oscar and into a dish of bleach to kill the little nasty!. Oscar knew Paul was helping him and licked his face as if to say a big thank you!. We inspected both dogs over thoroughly and thank goodness there was only the one!.. It hadn't been there too long as it was sitting on the top of the skin and had not burrowed in!. I will now do a daily inspection of both dogs and speak to my vet to see if frontline is or is not working to keep ticks at bay?.

I live in one of the worst places in the US for ticks and Lyme. I inspect my dogs and have never had a tick on them thank goodness. Never had one on me either. I spent last week in Chattanooga, TN visiting my daughter. One night I'm sitting in her apartment and went to take my shoes off, saw something on my leg. It was hard, didn't knock off..I actually had to scrape it off. It hits the floor and it starts moving. It was a damn tick!!!
