For MyCorgi Friends with Multiple Dogs, A question...

A lot of times when Goldy wants to play and Bear doesn't, she'll lay on the floor next to him, often on her back or side, rolling back and forth. Is this something that can be traced back to packs of dogs? Everytime she does it, I watch her - she's so calm and subdued, not sleeping, just lying there next to him and watching him.

Do your dogs do it? Does it tend to be the younger dog or the more submissive one? Do you know why they do it?
