Further to the house hunting!!! From Oscar & Sam's Dad Brian

Hi All,

Thank you for the messages of support I'm touched!. We went and looked at the 2 rural properties both were unsuitable!. Friday we had 2 groups came for a second inspection 1 of the groups mother came out from China for the inspection they want the house but what they are willing to pay is another thing we have got them to our figure that we were prepared to let it go at but they asked about furniture . Paul my Partner hesitated and after talking to me I told him the offer was a good one and they could have the whole house furnished accept the antique furniture!. They asked more about the bedroom furniture and all the sofa's etc they can have all of that as long as they buy the house!. I'm worried about the time delay of them putting their offer with the stipulations re furniture etc they were looking at another home!. The agent was contacting them over the weekend and will let us know hopefully Monday?. I know if something is meant to be it will happen but the stress has been enormous and we are now in the winter months houses never sell well in the winter months here!. Will let you all know the outcome!.

A bill of sale for the furniture should be an easy enough addendum to add to your purchase and sale agreement, assuming in Australia it's similar to here. We moved a year and a half ago from a 1/4 acre property to a 5 acre property on an island (aka beaches everywhere with free access) and the corgis just came alive. I knew Maya was fast... But never had I ever known she was THIS fast! She doesn't have to hold back... And they're always pooped at the end of the day. I wish you the absolute best of luck with your house hunt and sale! It should be a fun time exploring what's out there and the possibilities with each property. Also, I'm nosy, and loved seeing what the inside of other people's houses looked like ;-)
