I know I'm a little bit early but I'm sure I will probably be busy this weekend and not on the computer. So is anyone doing anything special for Valentines Day?

Finn is staying with my Mom as of last night and we will pick him up Friday night. I'm so excited to get him back. I didn't think I'd miss him so soon but I do. I just hope he's not overfed or limping when we pick him up. Our apartment complex is doing property inspections today and Friday and they will enter while we are at work so Finn is not allowed to be there. To make up for leaving him we are taking him to a Corgi meet up here in AZ on Valentines Day!

I have no idea what my husband and I will do to celebrate. This is our first Valentines as a married couple and up until this year I worked at a flower shop so Valentines Day was something to dread, not look forward to. Being laid off was awful but on the bright side, I can finally enjoy Valentines Day with my two favorite boys. :)

Congratulations Natalie, that must be exciting! And Bev, congrats on 36 years, wow! March will be 1 year married and 7 years together for us.

You all sound like you have some fun plans. We'll probably see a movie Saturday night and go to dinner either Saturday or Sunday after the Corgi meet up. We're not doing gifts this year (I hope that's still true because I didn't get my husband anything). Last night we went to his Mom's for dinner and to meet the new critters she has. She runs a reptile rescue here in Az called the Phoenix Herpetological Society and aside from all of the reptiles, they rescue other animals in need. We met a little girl Raccoon, a Possum, a few of the new snakes including two Cobras (which we didn't handle of course), a Water Dragon, an Alligator, Giant Tarantula (the size of a dinner plate) and 12 Kinkajous. It's always fun going to her house. The best was when she had the baby Wallabies. I will consider that my Valentines day excitement since not much could top that. :)

Alice, I love your picture, that would make a great Valentines Day card!! Not really too much planned. I will be waiting to hear if I am an Aunt to a neice or a nephew as my sister in law is suppose to have her baby on Valentines Day!

My daughter,son-in-law and 2 year old grandson are joining us for the weekend! They just celebrated their 3rd anniversary! We will go visit my mom who is in a nursing home, eat several good meals and desserts and PLAY! My husband works so I guess we'll have to save him some of the yummy food!

Adorable picture! We will be celebrating Samantha's First birthday (early) having family over with canine companions of course. Cooking steaks and smoked baked potatos on the grill, cake both human and canine. Then Wednesday Feb. 17th (Samantha's real B-day) I am taking a vacation day from work for a "mom & daughter day". Going to spend all day with our girl and just enjoy. Enjoy your valentines day with your fellows.

Well, other than going to the meet-up, we're probably going to go out for dinner afterward (either sushi or Filipino food). My husband always surprises me though. Not sure if he's going to do anything this year though.
