H O L Y C R A P. I am trying to teach Waffle some more tricks. When I was teaching him "Wafflecopter", he would spin once and I would say "do it again", and he would spin again. Now he spins twice! I said "do it again" when I was teaching him something else at school and he spun around and I made the connection that he thought "do it again" = "spin". I've been saying it over and over too trying to teach him to go backwards. Well I said it today when I was running through his tricks after he did play dead, expecting him to get up and spin around, and he PLAYED DEAD AGAIN. VGDEhjfkgbshdajil then I tried it with some other tricks and he did them all twice in a row. SO SMART. SOOO SMART I CANNOT EVEN BELIEVE HOW SMART THIS DOG IS.

Comment by Nancy, Victor & Kabu on July 16, 2012 at 3:38pm Agree with Roger/Laurie
Corgi's are dangerously smart....DANGEROUSLY! I have been properly trained to give in to Kabu's needs. Only till it was after fact when I realized I've been played for a fool over and over again. It's amazing and frustrating how smart they are.
Kabu will only do tricks if he sees food in my hand.. even though I make a fist like I'm holding food he still knows there's no food in there.... Smarter then any kid I know that's for sure.
Kabu say "mom not my fault.. humans are not that bright!"
Comment by Nora & DouBao on July 16, 2012 at 2:46pm I agree that Corgis are SO SMART!!! They figure things out so fast. Mine will even give me the look like "Hey, mom, I got this, can we just move on PLEASE.." (sometimes creep me out...) hahaha...
Comment by Jennifer Markley on July 16, 2012 at 2:42pm I think a video of the Wafflecopter is in order. :-)
