I want you to know that I haven't forgotten you

Riley,
I miss you,
I miss your blub blubs,
I miss seeing you and the puppy play,
I miss our walks,
I miss laying with you on a quiet morning as the sun came in,
I miss seeing you when I come home,
I miss watching you "get em",
I miss playing big dog,
I miss helping you through your fear of the scrubbing bubbles,
I miss telling you my secrets,
I miss your silence when I needed to be alone to think and you would patiently sit by my side,
I miss your excitement for Santa,
I miss our trips to Grandpa's,
I miss you begging for me to put blush on you,
I miss watching you with the puppy as she sat in her highchair giggling at you and your big tongue trying to get a piece of food,
I miss you coming to me when Sam and Molly were doing something they were not suppose to,
I miss you always....

Thank you for being my friend, for taking care of me, for getting me help when I couldn't, for encouraging me to keep going when I didn't want to, for always making things seem better, for watching over Sara as she grew, being her friend, helping me with the "girls", being a part of my life that I could have never done without.

I hope you know how much you meant to me and how thankful I am to have been blessed by you. I will always love you, there will never be another one like you.
