For those of you who aren't on Facebook I thought I should update you...in the last 2 moths I have lost 2 Corgis. Teddy was diagnosed with large tumor and spent his last few weeks with us before he was too sick and we had him put to sleep.
Wynn was diagnosed with bladder cancer last fall and started failing fast a few weeks ago so I also had to say good-bye to him.
Poor Sage is wondering where they are and very lonesome as she has never been an only dog! Hopefully she will have a new rescue sister. I have applied for a rescue and am waiting to hear back from them. If not I'll keep looking. The Corgi world is great and there are many people who are willing to help transport Corgis also.
Keep your fingers crossed that we find one soon! Sage has never been an only dog!

Hugs!
If anyone has used the Corgi Coalition transport...I can't say enough about them. They are volunteers who transport rescues and I am not sure what else they do but instead of me driving 10+ hours they will be bringing Floyd over 1/2 way and were willing to bring him further...that's committment to the Corgi breed!
Working out the details right now! Waiting for the paperwork...will send that off and pay yet tonight and then he'll be mine/ours!!!!
Corgi people are the greatest!!!!!
Jane...my heart hurts so bad for you. I am not on FB so I had no idea. There is a huge hole in your heart and poor Sage. Everything crossed that it all works out. I know that Brady coming to us before Max passed was good for Katie, she has never been an only dog either.
Please keep us posted on this new guy! If could get Max down from 54 lbs when we got him to what was his normal weight of 37 lbs I know you can get the new guy down to fighting weight.
Great choice, fingers crossed.
If all the details get worked out I will be adopting a 7 year old rescue who needs to lose weight but looks like he's a great dog. I think Sage will love him!
I have one I'm applying for now....
Sad to hear you went through hard emotional times, it's the only sadness our dogs bring us.... I look forward to hearing about the new lucky rescue Corgi and seeing some photos.
Just got accepted to adopt from Celtic Corgi Rescue!
