I just walked in the door and he brought me his toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woohoo!!! And wonderful that you helped another corgi get closer to his new home.
Of course there will be get to know you period. Of course you worry will they get along after the honeymoon phase.. I was worried about Brady coming with 2 older dogs and one with health problems. The initial meeting was as if the 3 dogs had known each other forever. I was going thru pictures the other day and came across one that I took about a week after Brady came. The 3 dogs are laying on the floor together and Max has his head on Brady's back and they both look so content. I can't wish you any more than that kind of friendship between Sage and Floyd.
Can't wait to hear more and see pics!
We made it home and brought another Corgi rescue almost 3 hours closer to her new home! The dogs did great and Sage and Floyd are fine together...so far. He seems like a mellow guy but I knows it's only been a few hours,
Thank-you Celtic Corgi Rescue and the Corgi Coalition Transport crew for your help in making this happen!!!!
Looks like he can use some loving and lots of it is headed his way. Congratulations to both.
Aww, he's handsome.
Woohoo!!!!! I am so happy for you and for him! He looks like a snuggler and is very handsome. He has such a sweet face. If I got Max from 54 lbs down to his peak fighting weight of 37 lbs (Max was a large corgi over all) I know you will have him in tip top shape in no time.
Can't wait to see more pictures of him. I bet Sage will love him and they will become fast friends. When will he arrive?
He reminds me a lot of Teddy. He also will need to lose ALOT of weight...poor guy! He's good on a leash and very nice and friendly...so that's good! It's so strange because I saw a pic of him somewhere and they said he needed a new home and was back at the rescue...I applied right away and got him!!!!
Congrats on your new boy! He is a hansome feller!
Wonderful Jane! He is a lucky boy and hopefully he an Sage will grow to love each other.
