Well for about a month now we have been fostering Lil' Mama and her gang of Kittens! Originally mama and 6 kittens, now just mama and 2 kittens. A few months ago I saw Lil'Mama around the neighborhood and started to feed her thinking that she was a young cat hoping I could get her off the street and into a nice home, only to find out that she was a mama. It took about a month to find her kittens, but only about two days to catch them.

Lizzie has done a great job of watching over our temporary house guest! At first from behind the gate, but now up close and personal.. you see Lil' Mama really likes Lizzie. Something that Lizzie is not used to, my cats tend to ignore her or run from her, not Lil' Mama she just comes right up and rubs all over Lizzie, they share a water dish and Lil' Mama even trys to share her food .. Lizzie is not real wild about that but doesn't growl or snap..she just eats faster! There is even a little bit of dog / cat playing goining on! Now the Kittens are a little different story, although Lizzie has never done anything to them, they don't care for Lizzie and even the slightest hiss from these little 3lb kittens sends Lizzie into the corner or on my Lap.. funny! Well hopefully Lil'Mama and the kittens will find their forever homes soon.. we are working with the "Its All About the Cats" rescue group here in Orlando. If you know of any one looking for a sweet mama or two cute kittens let me know!

Wonderful story. :) I got all my (4) kitties in similar ways (but never got the mama and babies all at once). Interesting that the kittens don't like Lizzie; maybe they'll warm up (but by then hopefully they will have new homes). Thay are all just precious and Lizzie is a great little girl.

Aww that's very nice of u:) awile back me and my hubby saved 5 baby kittens super skinny with no mama. We stood by the drain they were in and waited for 5hours untill they were all out. After we got them they didn't trust humans at all so feeeding/changing the litter box was hard lol. It took two weeks but they finaly warmed up and found their homes. that's very warming that u took them into your home and are giving them your love. Thank you for doing that:)

Aww, I had a grey one like that many years ago. So cute! Both my cats are rescues and are wonderful. Hope they find good homes soon.
