No name for our puppy!

We have had our puppy for 4 days now, and he still doesn't have a name! We have gone over tons of names and nothing seems to fit, and it is becoming very frustrating to address bad behavior, or even good behavior when he does not have a name. Not to mention I am trying to fill out some paperwork for the vet and our country dog license, but we can't complete anything without a name. Anyone else had this issue before? I have never had a hard time naming a dog before, and its not that we don't completely love this puppy, we are just stumped!

Comment by Jane Christensen on January 20, 2010 at 11:37am: I have changed names for my dogs when I named them before I got them! Livvy (Olivia) was Gwenneth and it just didn't fit her! So yes sometimes this is hard. Hopefully something will come to you soon and as for the vet the can just put male ...and your last name this is easy enough to change and I wouldn't be in a hurry and regret the name you picked. I guess for now I would just say "here boy" or whatever! Good luck and I can't wait to see what name you pick!
