Oh my goodness! I love it! What an adorable pup! Happy for you.
Awww....look at that sweet little baby!!! Boy or girl? Poor Watson....bet he loves it. I am so happy for you. No, we never forget, they always remain in our hearts but there is always room for a new furry love.
Uh oh! :-D Looks like trouble in River City to me!
I am so sorry!! Here's a poem I received when I lost my springer -
Beyond the Rainbow
As much a I loved the life we had and all the times we played
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble free
Where all of us can meet again and spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful--lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I was all right
That this place is truly wonderful, and then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in it's brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the rainbow and listen with your heart.
What a pretty little Corgi. So very sad for the pain you must feel at losing her. Remember the good times you shared ........
Oh Bev, I know it seems so unfair to lose a dog so young. I never knew about bladder stones which Wynn had either until he got them and he has "aged" since this illness. Just like people in our lives...we never know how long we will have them but I am sure Izzy had a good life and is thankful for all you gave her including the part of letting her go and not suffer.
How is Watson doing? I can imagine he is very lonesome. Every day when I look at Sage I swear she is looking for Tank(her playmate) but when we moved back to town Tank unfortunately had to go back to where he lived before he came to our home..."take care".
I'd never heard of such a thing. Who would have even guessed to check for it? I'm so sorry this happened to your pal.
Sorry I am such a nitwit, Izzy lived 2006 to 2016. She was 9. She had a liver disease called Copper Liver disease that apparently a few breeds are at risk for including corgis.
I'm so very sorry to learn of Izzy's passing. Such a sweet pic of your sweet girl.
