Solomon and I took our first obedience class today and it was fabulous. He did so well today. We started out with heeling, of course "Mr. I'm walking ahead of you always", was absolutely dumbfounded that Momma would make him walk slower and beside her! He did really good after awhile and got the hang pretty well, when they throwed in the sit when I stop he did not like that at all. He would fight me eveytime I would make him sit. Instead of sitting right beside me where he was suppose to he would sit out to the side. I will say the funniest thing happened that shows me just how funny Corgi's can be. We were walking down towards the end and the leash suddenly tightened up and it was heavy on the other end, so I turned around and looked back to see that Solomon had laid down, on his back, with all fours in the air. I busted out laughing. It was like pulling dead weight! Everyone turned around and saw Solomon just laying there. The instructor came over and looked down at Solomon and said "So this is how you are going to get out of doing the exercise" He turned around and said to everyone "Your dog is going to try you at every turn, especially if he is spoiled" It was fun and Solomon did very well considering he has never had classes. I expect great things from my little clown. I'm sure that won't be the last time he plays "dead doggie" Till next Tuesday, have a good week from Solomon and Me.
