Every summer seems the same for me. A friend or family member is in need of help and I drop everything to try and make life easier for them.
During this time my husband and I decided to take in (yet another) foster dog. This time an Alaskan Malamute, and I would only be home on the weekends.
I can't tell you how proud I am of my husband right now. I had to beg him to adopt our first dog Roslyn, and he made me promise I would do everything for her. Now we have our second dog and not only are WE fostering, but it seems he will foster without me!
Roslyn has changed us forever. Dogs have made me a better person.
Our foster dog Ludo with his fav. piggy toy. Ludo came with some paperwork for AKC and some pedigree bloodline stuffs. I don't really know what any of it means... but I know his uncle played the dog "buck" in the movie "8 below".
Ludo is gentle and beautiful... but before he was surrendered had a shaved due to an incident with not only a skunk but a porcupine as well! Ah, the joys of living in Northern Michigan!
Oona loves Ludo, and Ludo loves Oona. This suits Roslyn well, she gets to sleep in peace now!
Ludo is my jogging buddy! Mush Ludo Mush!
Also... guess who learned how to sneak onto our bed in the morning after i wake up and let the dogs out of the kennels? (Don't tell my husband that I am posting pictures of him sleeping on the internet,K?) This is what I came home to after my long morning jog. Naughty puppy! ;p
