I finally got Stinky Wink's grave pretty much finished. I'll have to wait for the bricks to settle more, so I can level them, tighten them, and mortar between them. I am so pleased with the stone that Chris made and the Corgi statue I got from eBay.  The irises will soon be blooming on three sides. I am going to plant dianthus to the north side of the grave (left in the picture). This was one of Wink's favorite spots, so I could think of no better place for his final resting place. None of his other spots were as beautiful as this one, or as protected from foot traffic.

Stinky Wink, I am so pleased that your sweet little body is resting in peace in one of your favorite spots, while your spirit romps at the Rainbow Bridge. We  will be together again some day, my besses puppo! I love you and miss you!

My boyfriend and I went memorial crazy online after Murphy passed and got that same statue! There were many statues available (many sites had them $300+ over all other breeds! People everywhere must know how amazing corgis are) but this one caught our eye and I see that it caught yours as well! There was also a beautiful corgi wind-pointer and many garden metal spinners on amazon.

This turned out absolutely beautiful, just like Wink!
