Talked to the breeder today. Jack's flying out here tomorrow night! By this time tomorrow, he should already be here! :] I'm so excited!!! We had a slight hiccup earlier since Jack went to the vet, and the vet found out he developed hematoma at his incision site, but he should be fine with some antibiotics. Which I will now have to learn to feed to him. Haha.
Today I went pet supply shopping. Spent a good... almost $200. And that's without all the crate stuff, and the x-pen! And I still have to buy a dremel for his nails. And probably lots of other things later on too. This (along with the price for him and shipping and stuff) is probably the most money I've spent in a week. But I couldn't be happier! :]
On another note, they need to make some short-dog crates! I would love to put his crate under my desk (since it's right next to my bed), but it'll be difficult to find a crate that will fit under my desk. I kinda want to get him the bigger 36" crate, but that's DEFINITELY not gonna fit under my desk. :\ I bet if crate makers made shorter crates, corgi and dachshund people would go for it for sure! Or even small dog owners that want their dogs to have a bigger crate. Maybe I should go tell them. Haha.
Anyway. I got tons of cleaning and stuff to do before he gets here tomorrow. But I will definitely take pictures of him when he gets here! :]

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. We're not having much trouble with pills, which I'm very glad for. He did try to spit his evening pill out, but I just plopped it back in and didn't let him open his mouth until he swallowed. Haha. Hopefully we won't ever have to use anything else, but I'll keep them in mind just in case. :]
Shou, yes I keep the pill pockets all the time because it seems like someone is always needing some kind of med! LOL My vet uses them at her clinic to give meds with too. I've never had any problem with them. Most dogs are not really hard to pill ( I did it for a living for years working as a vet tech), but my Kadi is one that fights it every step, so I like to keep something to make it easier!
They are junk food, but I always had success hiding pills in a puffy Cheeto. Two works best. Hide the pill in the first one, they slide right in. Then as you feed the first, hold up the second. They hurry eating the first in order to get the second.
Thank you everyone!! I'm beyond excited right now. I couldn't sleep well last night at all! Haha. I'm taking an extra day off today so I can make sure my room is cleaned up and ready for him to be here. :] His flight will be arriving in about 6 hours!!
Chris: Have you personally tried the pill pockets? I was curious and looked them up, but I saw a bunch of reviews about people's pets getting diarrhea or vomiting after eating Greenies... I think I'd rather not risk it. The breeder said he was easier to pill this morning, so we'll work through it. Thanks for your suggestion though!
Lawren: Haha Apparently Jack takes after his dad and will not eat cream cheese! I don't know if it's only when the cream cheese is wrapped around the pill or cream cheese in general, but the breeder tried it. And I guess he just wouldn't go for it. Haha.
AsthmaticHummingbird: How exciting!! Good luck with your new puppy too! I'll look forward to pictures! :]
I can't wait to see pictures!! He looks adorable!! Congratulations!
Can't wait for those new pics! I can't imagine how exciting this is going to be!!!!!! Enjoy.
Congrats!
I'm driving tomorrow to pick my baby up, too! What an exciting day!
Cream cheese also works well for pills. Teddy eats just about anything and I have no problem giving him pills. So exciting, isn't it? Glad you were able to find your pup. I knew that Teddy was "the one" as soon as I saw him.
