RafaRiki looks adorable with Lucy -- and almost guilt-free -- maybe you can get Doug to superimpose him on some scenes of tsunami destruction -- now that he's lost the black on his forehead, his face looks just like Al's.
Wendy....I really do like the new pic! They look sooooo adorable and sweet:) I understand why you would want to wait and I am glad that Ricky has his furever home with you:) The worst is over (one can hope)...can you imagine someone getting a corgi like Ricky and having no clue what to do??? At least you were used to the breed and had lots of support!
Wendy...I am glad my birthday isn't on April Fool's Day but my neice's is and we celebrated together this year (she's only 3 years younger than me)...we had 2 days of FUN!!!!!!
Thank you for the cake Wendy! I've had a great 2 days of celebrating! I suppose I have to get back to normal again but I did warn my hubby that this is my birthday month, don't think he agreed!
The Gork!! That's fantastic! I remember the time Corki was just resting on the couch and decided to roll over, only to find himself on the floor. It was hilarious! Your corgis are adorable - I love the sleepy pictures :)
We haven't got the walking down pat just yet, but we are trying vey hard. It is a big mess right now. Three weenie dogs and one corgi what a mess! good thing I live way out in the country.
hey Jack & Wendy, I just realized that we are just a short drive away from each other. If you ever have reason for a road trip to San Diego, let me know if you wnat to pups to have a meet-up!
I do not know how much Al weighs, but I'd guess at least 25 lbs. I may know for sure within a few weeks; we may go to the vet for shots.
I'd think a corgi would have to be awfully big to need a 36" VariKennel, but ask around -- there ought to be threads on this site, search for it? If RikiRafa keeps eating your furniture, he's gonna be a big dog, but even Al's crate is large enough to be awkward for travel. You don't want it too big.
BTW, our crates almost always have the doors open.
I think a crate is supposed to be big enough for the dog to lie full-length? But I don't know!

Gwynnie (smaller) is fine in her Medium 27 x 20.
Al (bigger) is fine in his Intermediate 32 x 22.
