Time really goes by quickly.  Seven months ago, Bento was born on May 2, 2011.  In celebration of his birthday, he's heading off to the local SPCA for his "fixing."  Poor little guy.  Mommy loves you and am really sorry about the timing of the event.  Unfortunately, the SPCA only schedules these surgeries on certain days.

There will be a lovely treat waiting for you when you get home!  Assuming you feel like eating it.

Bento wants to thank all the well-wishers.  He is resting right now.  We hope he will feel like a nibble in an hour or two.  Here's a photo post-surgery:

Oh, so cute! My Lucy also spent the week of her 7 month birthday getting spayed and recuperating (she still is recuperating). I apologized to her all last week and gave her extra treats to assuage my own guilt!

Happy Birthday sweet Bento!  Heal fast, so you can play hard! Zander says,"woof to you".

Ace would like to wish Bento a happy birthday (he's only 4 days younger!) and to hang in there through the surgery. Make sure to spoil him rotten during recovery! ;)

Aw, what a birthday surprise! He will probably sleep the rest of the day when he gets home, but it will be hard to keep him calm the days following the surgery. Good luck birthday boy!!

Happy Birthday to Bento! I am sure he will appreciate a nice treat when he comes home! My two barely acted like they had had surgery.

Happy 7-month birthday, Bento!  ;)  You may want to save the biscuit for tomorrow, though, as he might not quite feel up to enjoying it after the surgery.  It's kind of funny, though, as Ellie's 7-month mark is tomorrow!  (She was born May 3rd)

He will be just fine Zeus went last month and he healed pretty quickly, it was just hard to keep him calm for 10 days lol he is a bit hyper, the next day he was eating like a champ :)
