I use Wild Salmon oil. I use it more for the anti-inflammatory but the product is made for shedding too. Franklin never has been much of a shedder so I really haven't noticed a ton of difference with the fish oil, just a softer shinier coat. I was going to post a question about fish oil today too. What to use and how much. The stuff I buy is expensive (like $25 a bottle, and only lasts a month)

I use Grizzly salmon oil, a full pump or 1.5 pumps a day.  It's pure salmon oil, no additives.  They have a dosage calculator here down the page a bit.  It is expensive at $25 for 16 oz, but a 16 oz bottle contains 133 pumps.  They've stated that you do not need to supplement Vitamin E on it like you should be doing with other fish oil products, too.

Hi Lorraine,

here's an old thread on fish oil

At the suggestion of someone on this board, I started my 3 corgis on Linatone Shed Relief Plus. It's an omega mix flavored oil that i put on their kibble. I have noticed quite a decrease in shedding and their coats are just wonderful. I really like this product a  lot and have found it at good prices online.

Thanks for ur help everyone!!
