this poor corgi mix in houston is in really bad condition & thank gosh someone found him. he was chained up in the hot sun with no food or water & covered in fleas. so much so that he had open wounds bleeding from the fleas feeding on him. they are taking donations to try & save this poor fellow.

here is just one picture of the damage done to this little guy, there are more pics & info in the link below. please help him. his owner didn't even give him a chance :(

Heartbreaking, truly heartbreaking. I'm so happy he has found a new home.
i am so glad they were able to save him & that he has a home now!!!! this little guy deserves the best after having to deal with the worst!
The only faith I have left in humanity, is that when humans see the worst, it brings out their best.  God bless all who donated, and the wonderful people who gave him a home, and a second chance at love.
I hope to see pictures of him when he is feeling better and happy. Whoever you are that took him, thank you and bless your hearts. He will need lots of love. Best wishes to you and your new dog.
ok so they just posted an update on him. they have named him "Also". Also, is currently in a foster home till he is fully recovered, he had fleas, worms, a skin infection, is HW+, among other problems he had. they will b posting pics of him in a few days as he gets better. i'm sure he wont have a hard time finding a home
Thanks for the update...can't wait to hear more and see pics of him feeling better:)
no, thank you & everyone who posted cares & concerns for him. & thank you to those who donated. i wish i could have done more myself (i would have done anything to adopt him but i'm positive my hubby who fuss at me if i brought home another animal). thank you to everyone, yall are proof that there is still good people in this world!
It's so upsetting to see something like this. That poor animal. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. Thank goodness he's been saved!!
Apparently his blood volume was down to 3. A typical "low' reading is 13. Unbelievable!
yeah, when i read that, i was shocked. that alone must feel horrible, then to top it off with all the other problems :( i'm so glad he hasn't let that cruel human being affect his outlook on people. it says he it happy, loves attention from people, & plays with the other dogs!
WOW...amazing but I have always known rescues are amazing and have so much love to give! I truelly believe they know they have been "saved" and are thankful in their doggie ways!
Gracie and I chipped in!   :)  She says no doggie should be treated this way.
