My fiance and I have been looking for a tri-color male puppy for almost a year. We have been meeting and talking with breeders all over Washington state and Oregon. We had a line on the perfect puppy with a woman in eastern Washington, but he turned out to be a fluffy. As adorable as that style is, we have fallen in love with the classic looking Corgi. We are set on tri-color, as well, which seems to be rare with breeders we've talked to.

We live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard. We like to hang at home, but we do take roadtrips and go camping in the area. My fiance works from home, so we'd have someone here with the puppy all the time. We both grew up around dogs, and we are excited to have one of our own.

Can anyone help? Anyone know of a breeder in the area with an available tri-color male puppy? We are so ready to add a puppy to our family, and appreciate any help or suggestions for us. Thank you!

Hey Everyone.

We did end up finding a pup!  We just picked him up on Labor Day so we've had him for just over a week now.  It's been a great ride so far, he's absolutely perfect!  I'll get some pictures up soon.  He can be a handful at times but it's been great.

Thanks for all the advice and tips!  We appreciate it!

:)

I had my heart set on a tri male for, oh I don't know, 25 yrs? our paths crossed last year & I have my sweet, ornery, mischevious, hilarious, strikingly handsome tri-coloured imp.

happy you found your boy! enjoy the heck out of him!

Is it Tobey??   I met Tobey at Olympic View Elementary a week or so ago, 9 weeks old....
Congrats!!! Can't wait to see pics!
John, was Tobey the name of the pup you met?  We did end up getting this puppy from a lady in Selah but she never called him anything other than "baby".

Tobey was a 9 week old (sic) tri pem from Selah I met, I think, just after Labor Day wekend at Olympic View Elementary a block from my house in Maple Leaf, Seattle.  Young family with 2-3 little girls.  Is that you?

If not, it's likely a pup from the same litter.  Deadly cute.

Odd (and kinda disappointing) that they'd split up a litter so young; somebody told me the CPWCC's guidelines stipulate keeping a litter together until 10 weeks at least.  Our breeder (Carrie Hale) keeps hers together until 12 weeks, I believe.
