Well, just got back from the vet and Lilly has blown her ACL.   Don't know how... On Wednesday evening she was playing with a couple of boys who were over here for confirmation class with DH.  After they left I let the pups out, they came back in about an hour later and I noticed she was limping.  So, a baby aspirin and off to bed.  Continued limping the next day, Friday kept her very calm, still (as still as we can) and today took her in to be seen.  So, on pain meds for a few days and then surgery.  We're heading off for vacation (a few days at a cabin in TN)  Guess we won't be doing any long walkies with the pupsters.  Oh well, a nice relaxing time can be good too.  So, prayers and positive corgi thoughts please.  Thanks in advance.

So sorry to hear.  Sending prayers and positive corgi thoughts your way!

My Lilly and I send you corgi hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery!
So sorry to hear that Becky, how old is Lilly?
Oh I'm so sorry!  Corgi smooches and well wishes coming from my place to yours.  One of mine, Annie, blew hers playing, too.  She had a TPLO and has been fantastic ever since.
Lilly is 3 years old.  Seeing her running around and frapping like a maniac you wouldn't think there was anything wrong.  I think it's going to be very tough keeping her still after surgery.
And thank you all so much for the well wishes.
I just had this done with Seanna a year and a half ago.  We went with the extracapsular technique, and she's done great.  Let me know if you have any questions!  Good luck!
Thanks I will,  We have her appt for labs and xrays tomorrow so the surgeon can take a look at them.  We had to block off the stairs, If I turned my back for a second and she wanted to be down by DH, off she goes on her three good legs.
