sorry for the delay in getting back to you this am.  Scout and I live in Ventura, CA.  He is turning into a very very good boy.  He is very even tempered and loves to go everywhere and explore everything.  His registered name is Nebriowa's coastland explorer. it fits him to a T.  happy exploring
Thank you for your good wishes. We will talk with the oncologist today and decide what type of treatment to pursue. If he wasn't 13 years old it would be a no brainer. Right now we are being encouraged to go for "quality" of life - rather than "quantity". It is the hardest decision I have ever been faced with. Everyday is a GIFT. We plan to make many special memories in the days ahead.
I have a Nebriowa dog.  She is an absolute sweetheart.  Her name is Nebriowa Hello Gorgeous aka "Sophie".  She is a senior lady from litter born 01/05/2001 and is a littermate to Ch Nebriowa Hello Good Looking.  She was shown in her younger years and has had five litters producing champion pups.  I got her 2.5 years ago to give her a forever home.  I have two other corgis and a Weimaraner.  I wish I had her all her life because she is a wonderful companion - very devoted and loving. She gives the best kisses.  Even at her age (10yrs, almost 11yrs), she still plays with soft stuffed toys.  When she chases a bouncing ball, she paws at it like a cat.  I have shown Sophie in a local corgi specialty show with Tim Mathiesen being there with his show dogs.  He is very nice, and like a good breeder, he was very happy to see one of his pups after so many years in a good home.  Sophie is "boss dog" in our house - it is all silent and completely understood by the others.

@ Sandi & Sophie

PS  Forgot to mention that we saw Tim Mathiesen at the So. CA Specialty and Lucy still remembered him. It was an amazing thing to see.

I also enjoyed reading how Sophie silently dominates. Lucy, though only 21 lbs & barely half Ricky's size, is alpha & I notice that she walks over to him and puts her nose next to his and gives him a message...usually a back-off message, I believe. Is Sophie average size? I think Lucy's our smallest and Ricky our biggest. He's not fat at all, yet I can hardly lift him.

Good Morning! What a great photo of Sophie. She is indeed gorgeous.

My little guy just had his second birthday.  Does that mean he is no longer a puppy? He is a really good boy! Happy to go and do anything anywhere. He is very funny. Not a morning dog at all, he would be happy to sleep in until 10 if I let him.  If it is too early he gives a great stink eye. He is starting to do therapy dog work and loves going to a local veterans home.  He loves older men with gray hair.  Maybe he thinks they are Tim?

Tim is wonderful.  Always very helpful and welcoming.

Have a happy day exploring

@ Anna - I just read your comment about Scout not being a morning dog. I am not a morning person, and all my corgis have been the same. Yet another reason I love Corgis. They love to sleep-in! Lucy is happy to sleep til noon! Meantime, I have to write to Sophie's owner. Sophie is a ringer for Lucy. In fact, for a second I thought it was Lucy. I only hope Lucy looks half that good at 10 years old!

Hi there!  Just wanted to respond to this thread since we have a half Nebriowa puppy.  Our 8 month old corgi Ralphie is from Ch. Nebriowa Cole Haan and Cypress Black Pearl (if I'm reading this correctly).  We'd love to find his siblings and family members.  We brought Ralphie home when he was almost 6 months.  He is truly our spoiled little boy - a very sweet, playful pup!

Hi Ralphie & Sue! I was looking over the pedigree for my Nebriowa pup, and it appears we have a common family member - Nebriowa Cole Haan is the Grand Sire (on the Dam's side) of my Piper! So, that would make Piper a cousin to Ralphie :)

Awww Piper is so adorable!!  How awesome it is to find a family member. :)  Thanks for letting me know!  Maybe one day we can all set up a "family reunion". :)

Haha I was looking into getting a pup from him too.

So far, I am seriously considering about three breeders:)

How are things going with your Scout?:) Do you reccomend Tim Mathesion?

So sorry for the long delay in getting back to you.  We had visitors!! Scout is wonderful!  He did so well with others even when they were cranky with him.  A perfect gentlemen. We are enjoying his therapy dog work very much.  He really turns on when he gets "to go to work".  He is happy doing everything.

Tim is wonderful. always available for questions and likes to get updates on Scout.  His kennels are pristine!  it truly is corgi land.

Let me know how your search for a pup goes.

Best wishes

Hello everyone! I'm new to the site, and I stumbled across this post. I'm actually waiting to get my corgi puppy from Tim in a few months! Turns out, I work just down the road from where Nebriowa Kennels is in Cotati. I'm very excited to get my first corgi!
