CANCER!

Please friends we need cancer info! Cooper just had surgery yesterday! There's a chance of a bad report! Should have results on Friday! He's not even 2!

Well Friends just got the word...COOPER IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biopsy came back as benign growths/cysts!

I'm still at work so my husband got the call! He thinks I'm crazy as I cried like a nut! Can't wait to get home and kiss Baby Boy's boo-boo's!

I am so grateful and thank for each and everyone of you and your awesome support! I could go on and on but I must hurry home...I've got to get home and love on that boy...

Yeah!!! I would have done the same thing (well actually I am, I have happy tears for you). Go home and give your baby boy extra kisses from me and Noodles. I'm so happy for you and Cooper! Whew.

This good new comes at the end of a Week from Hell at work for me (had today off, but had to work anyway, my own fault). I needed some good news.

Remember: Cooper and your other pets and you and me and everyone we love are all gonna die someday anyhow, so let's all use the time we've got the best way we know and do what we can.

If you do your best to help the world, you can die with a smile.

Part of my job involves collecting samples from people who know they will die of Huntington's Disease ("Woody Guthrie's Disease", a hereditary and fatal neurologic disease that strikes in midlife) and voluntarily travel long distances to participate in this study of the disease with no compensation. The other day, when the study coordinator thanked this young man for participating, he quipped, "Well, you haven't lived your life 'til you've shared it".

Hi Friends! Again I want to "Thank You All" for the awesome support when Cooper and I had our Cancer Scare! I just can't thank eveyone for all the messages! I feel bad for putting you all through all that worry but oh so glad you all were there for us! Just an update to let all know... I removed his sutures on the 13th day after surgery and unfortunately he had some swelling at one of the sites so I took him in to the vet to be checked. I figured we had a little too much activity... and developed some fluid. It turns out it was a blood clot that had formed since he had some bleeding after the surgery. The Vet said it would dissolve over the next 3 months...well yuk! I thought darn this is where we started... with a lump...Well anyway it's completely gone now after only a few more days! So I think it's safe to say all is well and we're moving on. Thanks again friends...all the best Lori and Cooper
