A pitiful corgi

Sparty , our resident elder, has an infected toe and has to wear the party cone. He is a somewhat grumpy almost 13 year old and is not very pleased with the situation. I got him a soft cone with hopes he would be a little more comfortable but he sat in bed and barked in protest last night. Eventually he settled down and slept like a log but is feeling pretty sorry for himself this morning. On top of everything he also has a small cyst on his eye lid that may have to be removed. Ugh, getting older can be tough. The only upside is he gets treats 3 times a day with his antibiotics.

He continues to look pitiful but is doing just fine. He enjoys getting treats 3x a day with his antibiotics and only gets the cone off to go outside, eat, and drink. He limps around looking like an abused dog and follows me all over. He is sleeping great at night so I think he is as comfortable as possible.
