Found this little guy while browsing Petfinder. The picture is horrible. But he looks like he might be a purebred pembroke from what I can see.

According to the listing, he's currently at the Kern County shelter. Hopefully someone can give him a home before they put him down...

Does anyone know if there's a corgi rescue near there that could pull him out, if he's still there? 5 days isn't very long to try to find him a home! :(
Oh, he is so cute! I know Sam usually can send all the recue group info but that he is busy with his grandpa. Hoping someone else can help with the info:)
I posted the listing to the Corgi Rescues of America on facebook, hopefully they will know somebody in the area
So that's why I couldn't find him on the shelter site. I was hoping that it meant he got adopted already... :\ Hopefully he'll still be there on Friday!
:-( I can't go Friday now. My stupid life just keeps getting in the way of my dog search. I really hope he is pulled by a local rescue.
Oh no! :( I told one of my friends at work about him. She also loves corgis, but her mom doesn't seem to... (Crazy, I know!) She said she'd ask her mom, but dunno if it would work out. Hopefully someone will take him.
Wasn't someone on here just looking the other day for a breeder in California? Or am I imagining things? Maybe they'd be interested in him?
Yeah you probably meant me. Haha. I would if I didn't just move. Haven't even settled myself in yet...
Ok, so this guy is still only listed as lost/stray on the Kern website. He has 6 applications for his adoption once he becomes available! Yay! Looks like he's safe! :-)
Good to know. I was thinking about him hoping he'd be safe. It seems like a lot of corgis do get to leave the shelter fast. Who can resist the corgi smiling up at you saying "take me home!"
