Corgi Ears Help!

Hello! I've tried a few different methods of taping and was wondering if I'm on the right track or not. My 4 mo old Pem. Corgi "George" has his ears taped. I'm using the "cone" method on his ears. They are starting to go up, but after I take the tape off an hour or two later his ears go into a creased airplane shape. I'm using my finger to wrap the tape around and turn his ear into a cone. Looking at this picture is this crease really bad? Any other way to help it go away? Thanks! :)

Pazu had his ears down for a while.. and basically I would massage his ears daily upward that his muscles would have to do some work. I don't have any other recommendations since I didn't need to use tape.

Thanks so far. I've heard of using breathe right strips too. Don't know if it's time for that. I'll try to see if I can get a better picture to describe his situation in the next day or two. I want to give this round of tape another day or so and see what happens!

Are you adding calcium (such as cottage cheese) to his diet too? Often that is the problem.

Leave the tape on until it falls off by itself. This is not a one day fix. At 4 months, you are running out of time to get his ears up. Don't feel sorry for him not matter how pathetic he looks (or funny!!). He will survive the ordeal. If he's teething, this can cause ear troubles also. We added cottage cheese to Rocky's diet. He loved it and his ears stayed up after the taping but you really need to keep the tape on then retape if they start to fall again.
