Good morning ,
So yes as crazy as my tittle sound , Sheldon is scared of his kibbles. I tried to give him a little kibbles and he started running around barking at the kibble and trowing it around. I was like OK your playing with the kibble but he doesn't want to eat ! I tried to give then 1 by one but that just take to much time. The only way I got him to finish his bowl is emptying the kibbles on the floor in 3 or 4 little mountain of kibbles.  Any words of wisdom / experience with this sort of behavior ?

Thank :)

I'd try adding a little warm water to soften it and get the aroma going. He'll figure it out eventually.

Make sure he is some where safe/confined when he eats e.g, the kitchen where he is blocked off by a gate. This will re-ensure that when its time to eat that exactly what its time for and not playing. Leave the food down for 20-30min and then pick it back up. Eventually he will understand that when you lay the food down that its time to eat (a dog will not starve himself). If you want to add something to the food to soften it up for him try chicken broth.

Maverick did this for a few days too. I was worried because he wouldn't eat unless it was tipped on the floor or in my hand, and if he wasn't eating, he wouldn't grow. But after a few days of putting it down for 20 min and pretending to not watch, he would eat. Now he RUNS to the food room every morning and evening, and plops his butt down and eats all his "kibs" all at once. Good luck!!
