She will sleep a fair amount. Run/play and then nap. I always remind people that a pup is much like a baby and needs "rest". She will probably let you know herself but with the holidays...make sure she gets a break every couple hours.

She would like to run/play 24/7.....she gets "wound up" and I have to finally just quiet her and then crate her......first couple of days she played then flopped.....played then flopped.......now it's play play....building a big pen outside so she can really run and get tired!

My momo, when we first brought him home, he would play and then SLEEP randomly.  But as he gets older, when we leave him, he'll usually SLEEP while we are away, and from what i've been told dogs should be sleeping when the pack / masters are gone.

Now that he's about 18 -19 weeks, When we are home with Momo, he'll just stay up and play as hard and as much as he can with us... until he completely flops out. 
so... ur pup should sleep when your gone... or around 16-18 hours a day... from what i've been told.
