Becca loves her Hide a Squirrel, but she now gets the squirrels out way to easy. Are there any similar toys that are more difficult to solve? I've been checking on Amazon but haven't found anything yet.

I stuff a few other toys in there with the squirrels, Bogart actually had a good time removing the leaves that were sewn onto the "log."

Wait, how is this toy surviving?  I got one, and in minutes, it was nothing but shreds and stuffing.  I'm amazed!

I must say I bring Hide-a-Squirrel out as a special treat. We let the dogs unstuff it, then restuff it and toss it, let them unstuff it again, do this for a few minutes and trade for a treat.

I think the problem with all puzzle toys is if it's too hard, the dog loses interest. And if it's solvable, once they figure it out it's easy.

Sort of like those ring-stack games for toddlers....

They have one for sheep now... but I doubt it's more difficult except that the sheep shape is different.

Becca's is surviving well, but like Beth I keep it for special days. I use it on days I have a headache or if the weather is bad. I have been stuffing in anything that can fit. It slows her down a little. She will get everything out, then bring me the log to refill. I would love to find one a little more difficult to solve.

Well, Bertie is pretty good at removing the innards of toys.  I once gave him a toy to hold while I paid for it, and when I turned back from the counter, there was stuffing all over, and the squeaker was out.  So....sigh. But I do love the hide a squirrel, it's very cute.
