Hi Everyone!

I have been a huge fan of this forum for almost a year now and finally took the plunge and became a member!

My husband and I will be bring home our male, tri PWC on 12/26/14 (yes the day after Christmas!). We are beyond excited and have named him Scout.

I have learned so much about the Corgi breed, as well as dogs in general, by reading this forum and would like to thank you all! Our goal is to be the best Corgi parents possible!

Here is Scout and his siblings when we saw him a few weeks ago. At this point he was 6 weeks old.

Welcome to the site.

I have to say this site has been amazing to answer questions that might come up over the experience of new Corgi Ownership.

It's also nice to read that any new Corgi parents you're not alone sometime when you feel like pulling your hair and you'll receive very good support and feedback for those willing to lend an ear... or eyes and fingers for this site.    :)

Wally was a pup of December 26th as well.    We received notification on December 20th that he was available and because we were expecting adoption only the following year, we jumped on the chance, even though we were barely ready.    But I flew to Ottawa on the 26th in the morning, met the owner for 15min. and ran with Wally to the gate to return home.    All in all I was at the airport for 30min. and flew back right away.

Here's his little tribute for his first day in NB

Feel free to check any of his 50+ videos on my vimeo site.   It's a tribute over his growing life..   :)

Thanks Denis! I couldn't agree more. I know that we will have lots of questions and it is very comforting to have a community of Corgi owners, many who have "been there, done that".

I loved your video, Wally is so handsome! I am thinking about filming picking up Scout too. Its such a big moment

: )

Good luck, Rachel!! Can't wait to see more photos when you bring Scout home!!! :)
