TV watching

Sadie could be chewing on her bone, running around, or anything but when the Spongbob SquarePants theme song comes on her little head turns toward the TV and sits down. She seems to be more interested in the theme song then the actual show, but she always watches it!! I don't know if it is the song, pictures, or what but she seems to love SpongBob. She also does not like Animal Cops because of the dogs on the show barking, she leaves the other room!!

Any of your corgi's like a particular TV show or anything?!

Leo likes the theme song to Andy Griffith (yeah it's old but on here at 5 every morning, and I'm old too). Probably cause it contains whistling. He gets nervous during Animal Cops if there is lots of barking and leaves the room. He does not have a tv watching pattern for certain shows really. Sometimes he looks at and listens to the program for a second then gets over it.

Puck will watch tv for awhile if there is a noise that catches his attention. I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other night and he seemed interested in the whole movie and was content watching it with me. :) I love when his little head tilts to the side or if he starts talking back to the tv.

Isabelle watches TV too! haha. We will be watching a show or a movie and catch her laying there watching along. Too funny!

I did notice the other day that Leo pays close attention to cat food and cat litter commercials that show cats walking around. He stops what he is doing and gives all his attention to the screen until the cat is no longer on. Weird, he does not do the same thing when dogs are on the tv. We have cats outside our yard that he loves to watch and bark at and it is interesting that he seems to know that is what is also on the tv.

My chorgi mix LOVES Star Wars movies! Her favorites is R2D2. Whenever that little robot starts it's whirling buzzing sounds, she runs in and sits in front of the TV. In fact, here is the link to her Dogster page watching Star Wars (4th picture down):

I have even put a tape of it in the VCR and turned on the TV before just to get her out from under my feet when I've been real busy in the kitchen...LOL!

My Pembroke Charlie watches TV constantly! He especially loves the Nasonex Cartoon Bee. He seems to remember sounds from commercials and will run in and wait for whatever animal will appear on the screen. We have given up watching Animal Planet all together. His new favorite commercial is "Mini Sirloin Burgers" from Jack in the Box.
